What is fast food like?

SO i've never worked fast food before. Whats it like?

How can I prepare myself? Is it easy?

Avoid working in a chicken joint at all costs...I hate even driving by those places, they stink so much.

i worked at burger king for a year and enjoyed it but i was a cashier and i enjoy customer service- i left for better pay and better hours elsewhere until the economy took a dive. recently i worked at a mcdonalds and worked in back cooking and i HATED IT!!! i felt like i was in h**l!!! it depends on you what you are good at-

i work at mcdonalds, i love it.. the people are great, and i usually hav fun at work and get good hours and good pay. But i guess it depends on what store and the owners, manager other crew ect. The only bad part is alot of customers are cranky and arrogant and think that it is the easiest job in the world and they are the only customers. But u learn to deal with these people.

i think working at a fast food reserunt is allright.it pays 8 bucks an hour.but it depends if you work late or early. id work early

I work at Burger King in the front and in the back. It's all pretty easy work but the drama is insane!  Or at least thats my experience.

Well if you have never tasted fast food which pretty much alot of ppl hav. You can get easy pizzza or burritos that u put in the microwave i think dats pretty easy

It depends on if you are in a busy area. If you are working some place busy..it can seem overwhelming, but it will get better as you learn more about your job.

They are easy jobs..just pay attention during training, ask questions and you should be good. Take your time and don't let people ( employees or customers) get to you.

Prepare yourself to deal with the ignorant people u have work with, and the ignorant customers you have to deal with.  no it is not easy.  But if it is busy, u won't get bored.   O, and be  prepared for the people who just sit back and watch the whole day struggle, when they could be helping you. and don't be one of those people either.  Another thing is that you have to move at a good pace.  Don't be super slow, and don't be super fast.  Just try your best to get the job well done.  Good luck
