Ok i have a religion assignment (yes please refrain from any things againist catholics) and i have to do a modern day thing for this parable. right. its about being a hypocrite

i need an example of a modern day hypocrite!

but i dont want an explanation on what a hypocrite is!

Heres one for you.

My boyfriend and I live in different states right now, so I can only see him once a month or so, which is frustrating for both of us. One day I was talking to him on the computer and he wanted to call. I said give me about half an hour, I'm on the phone with my friend. He asked who, I said Paul. He freeeeeeaked out, got super pissed, called me a wh@re and basically told me to go F#ck myself. The thing about me and paul is, we're not flirty, at ALL. he's said I'm like a sister to him. My boyfriend knows this but was still enraged that I was talking to another man.

The next day my boyfriend calls me up and I hear someone in the background so I ask who it is. He says 'oh that's just Jen ....she got kicked out of her apartment so she's moved in here for a while' ...Jen is his stripper friend, whom he's had 'relations' with in the past.

The so-called lovers are good examples for hypocrites. According to their belief s*x is so glorious a thing that a person must place her/his love where her/his sexual interest lies. But they never make it clear. All they know on earth is s*x and still they pretend they're bathing in a divine essence! Beware of them. For further illustration read Joseph Conrad's "The Lagoon", of course if you haven't read it already.
