What is happening :(?

Question

My brother and I have always been best friends. Yeah we do fight but he was there for me. Now I'm not so sure. He found out that this girl liked him and he liked her back. So they have been talking nonstop 2 weeks straight, and I feel like I'm losing him. At a family/friend party (the girl he likes and her family has one every other friday) they were sitting next to each other talking and i kind of felt left out. I know they both really like each other but now when My brother and I talk this is our conversation: (we are on opposite sides of the house)

Daniel?!......

20 seconds later....Daniel?! Can you help me with math?

daniel?

so i usually go down the hallway and knock on his door and say, "Hey daniel can you help me with math?

10 seconds later........Daniel are you talking to Taylor?

(because he hears his non girlfriends name (she cant date till 18) he says something....)

what?

then i say never mind

and he says what?!

and i say nothing!!!

and thats the end of it

if i say something he will deny that hes ignoring me....

what is happening?

he really likes his non girlfriend a LOT

but i think if you tell him hes really hurting your feelings by leaving you out

& say your afraid your losing him

then i think he might realize that you miss him.

he is getting older he just likes someone and will probaly ignore you for awhile but whatever!

he's a teenager, he wants to keep his private life private. and he is probably annoyed that for some reason his non - gf cant date till 18. i know i'd be mad. relax you're not losing him he's just all hormonal and in love. steer clear!!!
