What is interesting about L'Alsace?

Well, Strasbourg is there.

They make better foie gras than in Perigord.

They make good wine.

Everybody speaks German as a second language (or at least French with a German accent).

Other than that, can't really think of anything special about Alsace.

oh its a fantastic city filled with culture & freindly people very open to warm faces & thoughtful people.

Alsace is beautifull ! Strasbourg, Colmar++++, and a lot of little towns very nice with old houses, restaurants, traditionnal shops.

But Alsace is not the "spirit" of France, it's between France and Germany.

Wine, food, beer, big cakes...................the paradise to eat and drink
