What is involved to play volleyball?

I am thinking of playing volleyball and i wanted to know what equipment i will need. I know spandex but i dont know what ones to buy? Can you post pictures of spandex and other stuff i will need

hey... if its competitive volleyball you will need just every-day plastic ankle braces and some good volleyball shoes that will give you the best traction on the floor.  Also, medical wrap/tape is always handy to have around to wrap around the ankle braces... hair bands are crucial!!! For shoes, i recommend Asics or Mizuno and high socks so the braces dont become uncomfortable. Also, try and find spandex that you can move easily in without it cutting off circulation...becuase that sucks.

ankle braces: active ankles

knee pads: mizuno

spandex: mizuno, the longer kind, though. because the shorter kind tends to ride up and show your butt.

socks: knee-high because the ankle braces and the diving and rolling on the floor.

hair: pre-wrap is the new headband. you can order it online. (break off a piece, tie a knot on the end, and put it in your hair. it stretches and sticks to you hair better.)
