Anyway for the past two weeks I have been really tired... having mood swings.. very emotionial... sore b*****s.. also felt tingling last night in my b*****s.. cramps.. pain in my sides.. But I started my period yesterday and it seemed pretty normal except it seemed alittle lighter... ( I usually have a heavy flow) And this period I havn't really had cramps which most of the time I get really bad cramps.. Two weeks ago I spotted light pink blood.. Well I took a test today from the dollar store and it showed a negative.. What is up with that?? Were the signs that I thought were pregnancy just period signs?? Please help I need some advice thanks.

  1. If you got your period, obviously, its just your period then.

  2. I am a CCMA

You should go see your GYNO and get tested for PCOS

Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome... If you have pain and heavy bleeding accompanied with large clots go to the er as this is a miscarriage

  3. It sounds like you aren't pregnant. If you were you probably wouldn't have had your period and you probably would have had a positive hpt. Many times pregnancy symptoms can be very similar to period symptoms. AND if you are stressing about possibly being pregnant, your body can sense it and react in different ways...ie..unusual period. If you really "feel" like you are pregnant but are getting negative hpt, then just go to the doc and they can do a blood test.

  4. pregnant

but just to make sure get a test that not from the dollar store

  5. I've got good news and bad news, depending on how you perceive it.

Yes, you can be pregnant. Some of us have periods during the whole 9 months and unless you go to a doctor, you get one heck of a surprise in 9 months.

My twin sister was in the Peace Corp when her 1st child was born, she sure was surprised. She thought she had cancer or endometriosis...Nope, just a baby.

I had two different pregnancies with a similar problem, fortunately, I knew what was going on.

I don't think I would trust the dollar store for a pregnancy test; however, I would make an appointment with a Gynecologist, just to be on the safe side. There are far more worse things that could be wrong than just being pregnant.

  6. The signs could be from your period or pregnant.  Just because you had your period doesn't mean that you can't be pregnant.  Lots of women continue to have a normal period throughout their pregnancy.  If you are still have symptoms wait and take another test or go have a blood test done at a doctors office.

  7. Unfortunately in early pregnancy they mimic the same signs are mentral signs, so that is why so many women have a hard time determining if they are pregnant just from the signs alone.  Try buying a Clear Blue Easy Digital test.  They are very accurate, and you don't have to worry with reading lines...it digitally says "Pregnant" or "Not pregnant".  I bled during two of my three pregnancies.  I bled the entire pregnancy the second time, and until about four months pregnant the third time, but it was lighter bleeding than my normal heavy flow period.  I knew I was pregnant during the bleeding episodes, though.  Bleeding during pregnancy is a lot more common than people realize, and most of the time it doesn't mean that you are losing the baby.  I would definitely go buy another test if I were you.  Good luck!
