  1. Great question.  OK. Assuming we are all in darkest Africa and were living in the great forests, its always bloody dark and dreary, the sun rarely gets down through the trees, just a few rays getting through here and there. yet every morning that old sun would rise up from its bed at the edge of the forest and it would rise from the same place every time. These folks could never understand where that old sun went  as it got darker in the evening and then all of a sudden, It was gone, no trace, nothing, gone. Then, sure as shooting the very next morning it'd be there, same place again, and rising slowly up and over the forest again.  One day a little band of these folks packed up their few bits and pieces and began to follow the sun. and that was the beginning of migration. It's funny isn't it, these poor ignorant people at the very beginning of our creation, following the sun eh. Yes. Ignorant but not stupid. They knew that the sun never came back the way it had travelled, and their inquisitiveness to solve the mystery, had made them follow the sun in the west to find out how it returns to the spot in the east where it rises every morning. Even today we still follow the sun, I believe it's inherent in us, and I think there may be a primitive reason, and not just to get away from it all as we tell the neighbours.
