What is picadillo de res?

I know its some sort of Mexican dish but I dont know what it is

picadillo is a mexican casserole that consists os "res"=dried shredded beef, chicken, or ahything else. (res in spanish means dried and shredded, for instance carne de res is dried shredded beef) it also had fried potatoes, a rotel mixture and tomatoe sauce. i add fideo noodles to mine for added oomph!

I bellieve it is a semi spicy shredded beef that is used in many ways from enchiladas, burritos, tacos and flautas.
