I want to know what more freedoms did you have in Czech than here in the US?  I can't possibly think of anything (unless maybe it's drinking age) that's more free over there.  Please list them.

You are trying to tell me that there is better health care in Czech than in the US, especially for $$.  Get real!!

I'm not afraid of cops and I don't know any of my friends who are - that is absurd to think everyone is "scared" cops!

I have been to Prague and I liked it but I will still take the US any day!!  Way more opportunities, more to see and do and we also have the Denver Broncos!!

First, this is a political question, not a TRAVEL question.

And second, you are not a citizen, here, (yet?), so, of course, you do not have all the freedoms that an American Citizen has.  And, let me ask you, are you old enough to remember communism????  WE are the protectors of democracy around the world.  WE are the FIRST country to have allowed these freedoms, that the Czech Republic has only adopted in the  last 20 years or so.  So, when you think about it, yeah, this is a pretty cool place!

And I'm sure, if you are working towards your citizenship, then you will feel very differently when you get it.  

And, to be sure, most of us DON'T appreciate what we grew up with, here.  we don't even realize how much better this country is, than most others.  Not wanting to knock the Czech Republic (have to say, it STILL doesn't roll off my tongue as well as Czechoslovakia did...sigh)  but things may have gotten really good there.  But things here have BEEN good for over 225 years!  Stability is a good thing.  Hope things CONTINUE to go well over there.
