What is the Assemblies of God?

Ok is the Assemblies of god the same thing as Pentecostal (the typical AA version) or is it more like Catholicism? I need clarification ASAP

  1. Assembly of God not Assemblies is a sect of the Pentacostal church.  It is far from the Catholic religion in terms of Christianity.

    The most apparent difference in service is:

    Catholics plan everything and is passed down to the church.

    Assembly of God services is usually led by the spirit.


  2. The Assembly of God church is a Pentecostal denomination.  They are about as far from Catholic as you can get.

    I have no clue as to their numbers in Brazil.

  7. The Assembly of God church believes that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are three in one.  The church teaches repentance, and baptism and salvation.  It is a trinity Pentecostal church.

    It is nothing at all like Catholicism.
