Question:

What is the best manual camera?

I would like to purchase a manual camera before September 08

There are some guild lines to follow about what camera to buy though.

Here are some things I'm concern with:

-Price

-Quality

-Guarantee

-Camera options

I need a basic beginner camera for photography class but I would like it to last a long time and be in good shape for the future years to come. I'd also like the price range to go no higher than $400 for a used/new camera.

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

  1. Nikon Rocks!!

  2. Check craigslist in a city near you ... you can usually find excellent used Nikon or Canon 35 mm cameras with lens for under $200

Just because they are auto-focus cameras with other auto features, the can be used in the manual mode for the purposes of your class

While these are used cameras, you will be able to hold them in your hand and test them and see that they work properly before you hand over your money.

If you really need a warranty with the camera, many camera stores sell used cameras and they usually come with a 90 day warranty
