  1. um usually u set to the hitter but if its to low it set u dink it over

dink- make a fist and punch the ball up and over [i know its sounds like a childish word but that's just what u call it]

  2. Usually a set is to push the ball into the air for a hitter to strike the ball into your opponent's court... and most of set would be your team's second hit (touch). Your team can "touch" the ball three times when it is on your side, not including any blocking hit. Nobody can hit the ball twice in a row, otherwise it would be called a "double" foul.

When a blocker jumps high to block, the hitter could try to hit the ball away from the blocker. If the ball never touched the blocker and went straight out of bound, your team does not need to hit the ball back... but if your blocker touched the ball, he/she should call "TOUCH!" so that other teammates can run for the ball and hit it back, no matter whether it would land in or out.

=========== forget about this as you didn't mean it ===========

You mean a set and a match?

A match is won by a team with best of 5 or best of 3 sets (depends on different league rules). If your team won two games (sets) in a best of 3, you do not have to play the third set.

Some people not familiar with this term could use "period" that is similar to the "period" in hokey.

  3. to set over the net place ur 2 pointer fingers together nd ur 2 thumbs together nd make a triangle then when the ball comes down hit in the triangle nd push!!!! then for hitting 2 a teammate rotate 2 face the person u want to pass it 2 nd dont hit it so hard to where it hits the ceilling nd when hitting dont bring ur hands higher than ur head nd dont swing!!!
