Bouncing means that there is a problem with either a member's e-mail being full and forgot to clear it out (this creates what is called a hard bounce) or they typed the name of the address of the group wrong (this is an example of what is called a soft bounce).

Both of these type of bounces can cause the e-mail account of that member to be as if it were inactive until either the owner and moderators reset that member or the member gets the notice from Yahoo Groups in their mail saying that there was a bounce for a group they were on.

Then when they click on the site given in the e-mail their account is reactivated and they go back to the main "Members" list.
