What is the minimum wage for someone the age of 17, who is doing manual labour from 8:30 until 4:40 monday to friday??

    and a day consists of 33 hours

    she has to stop time to get in the extra hours to feed her rather large asian family

  7. The federal minimum is $6.65 but your state may have a higher minimum.  See my link for information on each state.

    Labor laws are mostly state laws.  Some states would restrict the type of work and the number of hours and time of day that you, as a 17 year old, can work.

    age does not matter.  whether it is manual labor or white collar work, it does not matter.
