The problem is that if you chose to fallow him and turn away from God, or never believe in God, you burn in H*** for eternity, no matter what he tells you other-wise. His deception is hard to see, he has many ways.

I don't know why he is the way he is. Try reading the bible, I haven't read it all yet, there might be something there that says why.

Haw Haw. They envy with Human (Adam). Because human is the highest creature of God. They refuse to respect Adam and God sent him out of  Heaven. And they swear to seduce human to do violations of God laws to bring Human to h**l in the life after.

Always in competition with God? Anyway, he seems winning. Notice how evil is humanity with holocausts, wars, political and religious hypocrisy, poverty and nuclear weapons? He must be having a good time this guy. I bet he'll vote republican.
