Prostate is a gland beneath your bladder secreting liquid which carries your sperm out through the urethra. As age advances it can slowly enlarge in size and cause obstruction to the flow of urine.It can be tackled endoscopically by excising the excess growth through the urethra without cutting open your abdomen.Rarely the gland itself can turn malignant  which may have to be removed or treated with drugs.
