Okay, my nieghbors have a huge Ham Radio in their backyard. I dont think its still in use. Sometimes when I'm talking to someone on the phone (Usually with someone far away) I hear a really fuzzy guys voice and its always saying the same thing. It plays when ever it hears someone elses voice. But ITS ALWAYS SAYING THE SAME THING! (I cant make-out what its saying, but it might be in German or Russain) IDK but i just wanna know what it could be...

  1. The fuzzy voice could be a ham radio operator, CB radio, or some other high power radio transmitter.

Ham radio operators often repeat the phrase "CQ, CQ, CQ, this is (his call sign) calling CQ".  That is how they find other operators to talk to around the world over the airwaves.  If the audio is fuzzy, it could be the operator is using SSB modulation (single side band), which does not sound like normal audio if you aren't tuned into his frequency with a SSB capable receiver.

It is possible to put "high pass filters" on a phone line to help reduce radio interference.  If you can get a hold of DSL line filter, that may even help on your phone line to reduce the interference.  Or, wrap the phone cord through "torroidal core" which helps attenuate radio signals on a phone cord.

If your phone is cordless, then you may not be able to filter the interference.

  2. your just getting interference try to talk from a different place if the ham radio is not working it can't be it.

  3. your phone might be interfering with the ham radio ever though the radio isn't on
