  1. A trivia question is one dealing with the answer being an interesting but little known piece of history . The answer really makes it a trivia question.

  2. Trivia.  This is information that is trivial in nature.  It us usually unimportant information that is running amok in some people's brains (sad to fess up, my head is full of such information).

Try to take on as much information as you can, a lot will be trivial, but some day it may be put to use.

  3. To my understanding it is not a well known fact or an obscure piece of knowledge.

  4. In my opinion, a question may be considered a trivia question when it is not well known and it is also an interesting fact. A trivia question is also something that the common people do not know. Trivia questions must also be based on fact not opinions.
