  1. its when the plane is hitting different amounts of air pressure and is perfectly normal and not dangerous when your sitting down. The captain will usually let everybody know that there is turbulence and tell you to sit down. It feels like a car going along a really bumpy road for a while, and can very. In calm weather, its just gentle shaking, and in rougher storms, the plane can make more drsatic moves. If youve ever seen that scene from the Day After Tomorrow on the plane, that is about one of the wost examples of turbulence. It is rarely ever that severe. And there is usually nothing scary about it until it gets into those levels of intensity.

  2. it's basically when the plane starts to bump a little and gets shaky. some people feel anxious about it because it may make them feel unsafe and reminds them of crashing. i don't get scared unless it's pretty bad. but most flights usually experience it.

  3. it where on a plane it kinda feels like you're hitting something on the bottom, but you're not.

turbulance is perfectly normal for plane rides.
