Why is it important and what might it be like if these laws didn't exist?

Please share your opinions with me, I'm not too clear on how Unemployment works. Thanks in advance! : )

  1. Unemployment insurance is a fee that your employer pays per year. I f you are a full time employee and for some reason you start working less than full time you can claim the x-tra hours you are missing because you are entitled to that. Only if you qualify / in other words if you are approved for unemployment. Check more info at employment developement department under unemployment insurance benefits. Good luck

  2. unemployment insurance is money taken out of your paycheck when you are working. If you are terminated from your job without a just reason you can file for unemployment. Your job will pay a certain amount and the funds that was taken out while you was working will make up your unemployment insurance.

  3. Unemployment insurance is a fee that your employer pays per quarter. If you are a full time worker and your hours get cut you CAN claim for those missing hours. If UE, as previsouly mentioned. If you are fired, your employer must prove misconduct connected with the worklace - on the final incident. If UE didn't exist, in my opinion, there would be much more incentive to actually work to live rather than living off of the government.
