if i look out of the corner of my eye, the object i focus on has a light blue outline on one side, and on the other it has a redish outline. it happens if i look the other way to, except the coloured lines have changed places. why is this?? it didn't happen with my old lenses.

  1. do you have a coating on them. sometimes if you have a antireflective coating you may see some different colors.

  2. I see the same thing with my glasses, the red outline being on the outside edge, I believe it is because when you look through the lens at an angle, there is a slight prism effect. The effect really shows up when looking at distant streetlights, the full moon etc. The effect also becomes more noticeable when the lenses are stronger, so maybe your new glasses are stronger than the old ones, and that is why you notice it now.
