  1. I chop up (in cubes) potato(s),and onions. Season them with a little salt, Mrs. Dash or a blend of spices and drizzle a little olive oil on them and bake.

You can add peppers to this also

  2. My favorite is probably just plain old mashed potatoes. Has to be made with yukon gold potatoes, real butter and milk, though.

  3. i cant pick a favorite becuz it depends  on my mood i suppose.

i love roasted red potatoes with garlic and rosemary

    mashed/whipped with garlic butter

chopped/cubed with onion soup mix- on the bbq is best or baked

good ole baked with sour cream and shredded cheese

and one of my all time favorites is homemade fries- especially if i have a nice homemade gravy.. yum

as a child i wouldnt eat them cooked....only raw with salt....my mom only made boring old boiled potatoes...no wonder.

  4. I like my Roasted Red Potatoes.

    -Cut Red Potatoes into wedges.

-Put the in a large bowl.

-Add about 1/4 cup of canola oil

-Add some Italian seasoning, salt, crushed red pepper flakes. (Whatever you want really).

Bake at 450 for about 20 minutes.

    AWESOME.

  5. I like it baked with some sour cream and chives.

When I don't have time though, I like to just cut a big ol' russet into slices and pan-fry them until they are a little brown on each side, sprinkle it with salt and pepper - Awesome!! It tastes like fries but with a lot less grease and a very original taste!! =)

  6. Creamy Mashed Potato........especially when made with organic potatoes. YUM!!

  7. German Potatoe Pancakes

Peel potatoes and one medium onion, cut up and put in blender and grate -

    Add parsley

    Salt pepper to taste

Add flour to make little bit thicker. Maybe 1 or two tablespoons.

Heat flat griddle to 375. Using lots of veggie oil make cakes the size of pancakes and fry untill crispy on each side and cookind thru.

Goes good with pork roast and onion gravy!!!

  8. Twice baked potato casserole. boil potatoes, cut in cubes and layer in casserole dish with sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, a little butter, salt and pepper, bake till golden brown.

  9. I love potato pancakes.  They get so nice and golden brown and crunchy on the outside, almost like french fries, only without needing to be deep fried.   Mmmmm!

  10. Roasted Garlic mashed potatoes. And fried diced potatoes with bacon and onion.

  11. Everyone begs me to make these. They are really good even as left overs.

Overnight Hashed Brown Potato Casserole (Cheese Potatoes)

    Ingredients:

    (8 servings)

2 lb Frozen hashed brown potatoes

    1/4 lb Butter

    1 pt Sour cream

    1 can Mushroom soup

    8 oz Cheddar cheese; shredded

1 Onion; grated or 1 T. instant minced onion

    3/4 c Milk* (optional)

    Instructions:

Cut butter into potatoes. Mix rest of ingredients together; pour over top of potatoes. Toss. *1/4 - 3/4 c. milk can be used in place of one-half of the sour cream. It will make a moister casserole, if desired. Bake in a 13x9" pan at 350 for 1/2 hr covered and an additional 1/2 hr. uncovered. I have used Cheddar Cheese soup, but reduce the butter as it will be greasy with both. I also put additional shredded cheese on top during the second half hour of baking. Doubles well. Can be refrigerated overnight after mixing all together.

  12. I like baked, or skillet potatoes - YUMMY

  13. im so sure this is NOT what your looking for but i love mashed potatoes but never seem to have enough time to make homemade. (busy around here) so i get the canned New Potatoes (in the green beat aisle) and cook them on the stove...mash em up real good and butter and sour cream and ready to go lol. i know your looking for a recipe but seriously...you should try these some time when you dont have alot of time to cook =)

  14. I loved roasted potatoes tossed with olive oil and rosemary and roasted until brown and crispy.

Also, boiled new potatoes, tossed with salt, black pepper, olive oil and chopped parsley.

  15. Baked potato with blue cheese and bacon bits... yum!

  16. Boil scrubbed redskin potatoes (skin on) in salted water until tender.  Transfer to casserole dish and coarsely break them up with a fork.  (Leave peeling with potatoes.) Pour Ranch dressing over the potatoes and cut up a half stick of butter in pieces all over the top.  Sprinkle with real bacon bits and cheese.   Bake in 350 degree oven until bubbly around the edges and the cheese is melted.

  17. probably the cheesy casserole kind

    devilishly delicious!

  18. German Potato Salad is my favourite way to eat potatoes.
