What is with Yahoo search engine?

I can't get a search for anything the last week without getting error 999. What is the deal. Do I need to leave Yahoo permanently?

error 999  shouldn't be   affecting  the   search  engine at all

it usually  stops  uploads of pictures etc, i had this error myself

i contacted yahoo    the  problem of  999 was yahoos server   couldn't  communicate with my isp  provider server so there was nothing i could  do about it until it was corrected by yahoo   or my isp  provider,   you  cant try  emailing  customer care as  i did

This has been going on for days now and Yahoo refuses or does nothing about it, it is happening to dozens of people and they are failing to fix the problem and act like there is nothing wrong. THEY are well aware of their problem, I have reported it for days, I have been told they may be banning IP addresses for bandwidth useage, as the problem will celar up and one can use the search then it gets worse with the error 999 message. Personally it is the pits when Google works perfect.
