If your grandparents were robbed, all their life savings taken away, wouldn't you want the robber's hands chopped off?

If your wife was raped, wouldn't you want her rapist dead

Please tell me what you think is wrong with shariah law

  1. What is wrong with Shariah law?

Everything.  OK for the middle easter islamic lands, but not for NON muslim lands and countries which they are all trying to put in place.

  2. The law is wrong because it is men's interpretation of the Qu'ran. The way I inter pert the Qu'ran is different then the way another person interpret it. Also, if someone attacks you, according to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) you are NOT supposed to attack that person.

  3. theres absuloty nothing wrong in sharia law its the people who want to have g*y s*x without feeling guilty

simpley sharia law puts the whole communty over a person which is good to built a loving community.however, secular is the opposite which is seflishness

    Edit :

Vampire the one above me is a jewish so dont expect a lot from

    JPA=Jewish Pagan allience

[Yusufali 5:82] Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

  4. chopping off ,and death for rape is NOT shariah Law,

Shariah Laws are the Laws in Glorious Quran and not out side source,i;e hadith laws...no matter what hadith laws are NOT shariah laws, fabricated lies attributed to Allah Allmighty

[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.

[6:115] The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

[6:116] If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.

[6:117] Your Lord is fully aware of those who stray off His path, and He is fully aware of those who are guided.

[6:164] Say, "Shall I seek other than GOD as a lord, when He is the Lord of all things? No soul benefits except from its own works, and none bears the burden of another. Ultimately, you return to your Lord, then He informs you regarding all your disputes."

@@ amin4622...what kind of flimsy argument you are giving..if some one attacks you ,one isnt suppose to retaliate !!..then let iraq and afghanistan wars be justified,,and let the rape of the women be justified, and let the murder is also be justified,,and let people live under opression ,,as no one is to retaliate ,,what a nonsensical nonsense you are giving

  5. I say......its King Abdullah's fault for the harsh rulings in Saudi.

  6. The examples you just gave are what is wrong with Shariah law.

Yes if anyone in my family was robbed and left dirt poor with everything stolen from them I would want the person to be punished.

But having the person's limbs chopped off is far too vicious for me.

The person who is stealing may be doing so because they themselves are poor; send them to jail, give them training, help them gain some footing so they do not burden society with their needs or their crime in the future.

What would chopping off their limbs accomplish? How are they expected to make a living if their financial circumstances have just gone from bad to worse?

The situation is just made more desperate.

Mind you, Stalin tried this and people were sent to prison for 10 years or worse, executed for stealing "state property" which included food items...

Imagine having a family dying of starvation and then having yourself be executed (or mutilated) for stealing food.

As for the rapist, I would prefer he rot in jail and spend his life in a tiny cell rather than be given a quick death.

As for the example you have given:

Stoning a person to death based simply on an accusation?

It is excellent that the victim be getting justice but at the expense of an individual who may have been innocent? Imagine if we had the kind of justice now where on a simple accusation we'd hand out such vicious penalties.

Perhaps its me being used to the democratic forms of law and having studied criminology and legal systems, because that to me all that seems illogical, barbaric and archaic.

    Edit:

So what if the robber was not in such dire financial need as I described?

Chopping off his hands will still not make the situation any better but rather make it worse because rather than providing them help, they are made into an even greater societal burden.

And Im curious as to your response to the other things I mentioned.

I should clarify I dont mean disrespect but I simply am the opposing view.

    Edit:

@ 360 page: I am not Jewish, I am an atheist (like I have stated before).

JPAS means Jewish Pagan Alliance Supporter.

And so what if I was Jewish? Would that make my opinion any less worthy?

Your stereotypical bias doesnt help the image of Muslims.

And frankly I do know a bit about Sharia law...I may not be a scholar but I have done my research and know that that it is more about a way of life than simply punishments.
