It just came on the News that a Teacher (she's 28) in my school district has been arrested for having s*x with a 16 year old male.. Now watch the kid is going to say he didn't want it. He'll probably say that the teacher promised him a better grade in class for doing this. I guess she can kiss her career good-bye..

When I was 14, I had an older lady come give me backrubs in bed in the morning  (back in the good ole days when kids weren't watched 24/7 and I had freedom to be home alone while mom was away...  Nothing sexual, but I wanted it to be ;)

Woah, wait a minute.....the teacher SHOULD kiss her career goodbye!  Why would you think that the teacher is the victim here????  Every adult over the age of 21 should know that you don't touch ANYONE under the age of 18 in a sexual manner, period!!!!  She broke the law...and it doesn't matter if the 16 year old seduced her or not...he could have started the whole thing and it wouldn't matter....SHE is the adult...SHE is responsible for her actions.

I don't know why older women want to have s*x with these inexperienced little boys. But she is responsible because she is the adult. What else can you expect from a 16 year old?

I can gaurantee she didn't have to twist that kids arm - but besides him still being a minor, she was also in a position of authority.  It doesn't really matter whether or not he 'wanted it' or not.

She deserves whatever she gets.

It's an epidemic in Florida...3 teachers arrested  for having s*x with male students. Not only can they kiss their careers good-bye, they can kiss their freedom good-bye. What the heck were they thinking???

Nope she is probably like the teacher that had s*x with the 13 year old and the DA said was to pretty to go to prison it is part of the double standard there if it had of been a male they would be in jail for the next thirty different for women they get in jail at first write a book make a movie end up a millionaire because of wrong doing as in the orginial case you heard where she was ordered to stay away and she got preg twice with his kids and then when released she got interviews and her wedding honeymoon ect taken care of by the gullible in the world how sad she should have been an old woman when she was released and her kids put up for adoption so she may come out much better after than before she was caught

It is sad, and I think teachers should go through alot of pshycological testing before being hired...I don't know how an adult could have sexual feelings for a child.

First of all, as wrong as it is it's getting more and more common. You have to recognize that children are becoming more and more sexually aware and active. A 16 year-old boy is already thinking about s*x, is typically sexually matured, and is pretty much willing to stick it in anything.

In all these cases everyone focuses on how 'horrible' these teachers are and act as if the students are completely innocent in any of it. It IS wrong to engage in sexual relations with someone who is not mature enough, physically or mentality, but poor parenting and not teaching these kids the proper behavior is just going to make these cases happen more often.

You blame the teachers, and they do deserve blame for it, but what about the parent who doesn't know this stuff is going on for weeks? What kind of children are being raised that their parents have no knowledge or involvement in their child's life to never find this out or detour it? Parents need to stand up and take some responsibility for what their children are doing.

And the 'child' is at fault, by age 16, too because they know what they're doing is not right. As I said above, most 16 year-old boys are already looking for s*x and what better "conquest" than the hot teacher every other boy in the school talks about having s*x with?

Put the blame where it belongs: to the teacher (70%), the student (20%), and the parent (10%).

What I remember of the kids in my school, that boy is living out his top fantasy.

However, it makes no difference.  He is probably an over sexed teenager, she is supposed to be a mature woman.  She deserves to get the sack.

She deserves jail time/s*x offender status just like a man would if he did the same thing. Kids are protected because they need time to mature and make good decisions. In some states a teacher having s*x with a student no matter the age is a crime. I hear a lot about women chasing kids these days. There are plenty of 18 year plus males/females out there that are out of school why go after kids? She will loose her teaching certificate and she will be a registered s*x offender for the rest off her life if this is true. Probation is in her future but some jail time might make others sit up and take notice!

it doesn't matter if he wanted it or not.  he's a kid.  h**l yeah she can kiss her career good-bye!  hopefully she'll be listed as a sexual predator and she can kiss her freedom of living/working anywhere good-bye too.
