I am a UFO buff. I watch all the UFO TV shows and I go online and find articles and videos of alien encounters and UFO sightings. I've even been out to area 51. and I have seen a UFO.

We are being visited and the government is covering it up!!!

My geekiest quality would have to be my infatuation and trivial geekiness regarding the Star Wars trilogy.  I'm talking about the first three, not the last three. I know all about serial numbers, names of the ships involved in various battles, histories for characters that aren't pivotal or even mentionable in the string of things.  It's very dorky.

My geekiest quality is that I don't play rpg's.

Now, you may say "Isn't it geeky to play rpg's?" But, the only reason I don't play rpg's is because I get TOO into them. The few that I allow to sneak in, I become obsessed with them for ages. At least when it was Pokemon I could still do other things because it was portable, but when a friend got me to play Final Fantasy 10 I didn't stop until I had beating almost everything. And if I owned a copy of the game I would still probably be stressing about how much trouble I'm having on the last couple of weapons and monsters in the arena. I mean seriously, my sphere grid was full for every character. It was scary.

Lately, my rpg obsession has been Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, but again, I don't own it, so that's kept in check by my inability to actually play it consistently.

What would make geeky besides always being in front of a computer and going to college is if I like something, a band for example, I have own at least one t-shirt of them.  I had this trait since I was a toddler.  This makes me geeky becuase I'm a 23 year old female.

i AM a geek.

i program computers for a living.

i wrote and self-published un-readable epic sci-fi novel (Mother Mars by corwyn green, sold 3 copies). instead of running after boys like s*x in the City, i did this.

i made my own Trek memorabilia when i was 13 to 14, tho i stopped by age 15 and migrated to babylon 5 fandom when that came out, so i'm not a trekkie anymore.

i played Diablo 2 for a whole year. and i still play RPG. I"m on the Witcher now. (I didn't do World of Warcraft for too long -- it was too social for me! i wanna be ALONE when i play games, not talking to people on Teamspeak headphones!)

i once knew the Dungeon master password to my (ex)boyfriend's NeverwinterNights (DND-style game) server, and i played assistant-dungeon-master on it when he wasn't around, and i even made a dungeon area for him there!

I paid 200$ for a video card. my video card is black and has flames on it.

I LOVE the goth look and listen to goth music and wish i can dress goth, tho i don't cuz i'm 29. my normal boyfriend doesn't like it at all. wah!

i am an atheist / skeptic tho, so i'm realy not into UFO's or people who *believe* or think they saw one. i talk them out of it. wondering about it is one thing, but saying 100% certian it's real or something is not my thing. same with people who think they *are* vampires, elves, wearwolves, or other things people imagine themselves to be. i like fantasy, but i can tell the difference between it and reality.

I actually have quite a few geeky qualities.

I wear glasses. I snort when I laugh a lot. I am very klutzy. I like to read. And if I'm not watching sports on TV, then its usually something on the discovery or history channel.

that i like to read. but i don't do it all the time. and you are awesome! i get these magazines and they are pretty interesting but other things are more interesting and one of the issues had Area 51 in it and that was the first i had ever been REALLY interested in it. i love mysteries and stuff like Area 51 and the Bermuda Triangle. they are so cool!
