What is your opinion on canabalism?

I think that canabalism is bad. Its ok to eat animals but when it comes to eating other people thats just wrong. I think this because humans are really set above animals and we have souls. So why should we eat each other?

I disagree with it. This is not to discount the practices of some tribal celebrations in other cultures. (I do not have that right, Unfortunately) I would not do it here.

lol @ if animals could talk we wouldn't eat them. seriously...i like meat. most people like meat. i'm sure if it were a life and death situation we'd eat people.

Lol Alive... what's funny is that its based on a true story.  Wait... that's not funny.  No, it's actually a sad movie, but an inspiring one too.  You have to see what they go through to survive.

Why would you come into the "Vegetarian & Vegan" section and state that you eat animals because they don't have souls? Nevermind the cannibalism bit for a second, I just don't understand why you would go into a section meant for people that choose not to eat animals and start a thread about it.

As for cannibilism. It is rare that you'll find someone for it. There are cultural taboos around it, for one thing, and for another, most species in nature do not eat members of their own species.

Finally, why would it be right to take the life of a human being in order to eat them? Whether they have souls or not, they have not been put on this planet for Citizen X's pleasure. And the same can be said about animals.

And you word the question like someone has just told you we must eat eachother. "So why should we eat each other?" I don't know if this was just syntax, or if you've been in a heavy discussion with someone strongly advocation cannibalism, but few would say "yeah. We definitely SHOULD eat eachother."

Of course cannabilism is bad. I dont eat animals because they are cute and I also believe they have souls. I would not eat my mom, my cat or a cow.

YL3  is right. we eat the animals because they can't talk.-like to lawyers and police and stuff . They can't dial 911 either to tell anyone they ain't seen their brother in a while. Lucky for us they can't talk.

If the human has died of natural causes what's the difference between them and pork (Just one chromosome). Their soul has left so you don't have to worry. Some people believe animals have souls too.
