  1. The power conservation ode for most items is a standby state where the machine or elecronic item is't turned off, it's just sleeping so it can come back up quicker.  TV's and computers have this feature very often.  It still uses electricity.  Just less than if you left the item on.  Good luck.


  2. This is a function you see on a variety of appliances, office machines and even factory equipment.

    Basically this feature allows the item (computer, copier, printer, etc.) to reduce its electrical usage down to the bare minimum, yet still be ready to use at the touch of a button.

    Xerox was the first company to create this option, for their larger office printers.
