What kind of poem?

If I want to write a poem for a girl I have feelings for, what type of poem format should I use?

Try a haiku. It's short & sweet & to the point. Also, you don't have to rhyme.

I suggest free verse, only because it doesn't hinder you from writing your feelings from her, and it can go to the fluency of the way you want it to. You don't have to have any restrictions, so you can write the way you want to, remember free verse can be anything, making it my favorite.
