  3. When they held their elections like 8 months ago his party was beaten by that liberal group,he just refused to quit,so he was going to be impeached.

  4. In politics we should believe in 'takht ja takhta' and it is not possible to rule for all the time to come and when Musharraf dethroned a politician, now he should see the revenge and must face the same.

  5. well.. of course it was the fear of impeachment!

    by  resignation he had opted for a more respected way of saying adieu! the pressure was immense and he had to either resign or face impeachment. the ruling coalition had a majority and in case of impeachment he was sure to go.

    ironically the ruling coalition's government was made possible only by the controversial National Reconciliation Ordinance introduced by Musharraf himself..! that ordinance forgave the embezzlement and corruption of over Rs 90 crore comitted by people from the ruling coalition!
