  1. Imagination and having an idea of how you want the dance to turn out. That's how i choreograph!

  2. A great choreographer and a great dancer.

  3. Great choreography is choreography that makes the viewer really feel something. It captures their attention immediately and doesn't allow the viewer to get bored or have their attention wander away. It could tell a story or convey a certain idea or emotion...and sometimes that emotion can just be one of happiness or fun...it doesn't always have to be heavy or sad. It encourages the performers to feel a certain emotion or inhabit a certain character when they're dancing and it inspires the dancers.

  4. If you watch So You Think You Can Dance, mia michaels puts a lot of emotion and personal things into her dances, when in my opinion make them AWESOME. so try doing a dance that symbolizes something to you. And be very unique with your movement.

  5. Great choreography in made of movement that consistently flows and doesn't necessarily have many tricks. It can have a lot of tricks so long as it flows and looks like it should be there. You want to have no stops but just movement that feels like it would naturally come next. The choreography should not be choppy, but seamless. If its smooth movement, then it should flow smoothly from one movement to the other. if its sharp movement (like hip hop), everything should be consistently very sharp (no mushy in betweens or ALMOST sharp). It needs to be clean too. Sloppy movement in choreography won't cut it and you won't get a high quality dance.

  6. the music and the dancer.the moves madder but not as much as the person doing them or the music the parson is doing them to =^..^=
