What makes this noise.........?

when i put my blinker on in my car, what makes the clicking noise?

its the clicker (flasher) its basically a relay type swich that clicks when it flashes the light

Typically it's the flasher.

It really is the noise of the electrical relay. The above poster is correct. When the circuit is completed the light flashes on (if you have an interior indicator/blinker/flasher light) and when the circuit is temporarily broken, the light flashes off. The relay and the sound of the bulb make the ticking.
