What nationality is the name gleick?

In the 1920 census of the United States, there are 18 heads of household named Gleick.  Of the foreign born ones, 3 were born in Russia, 2 in Hungary, 1 in Germany, and 1 in Galicia.  I suspect the ones from Russia were "Volga Germans".  There also seems to be some overlap with the name Gleich because of doubtful handwriting.

So 'Gleick' is possibly German !
