What nationality my last name is?

My Last Name Is "Ryerson" and I have been trying to find out what nationality I am. I know that on my mom's side I'm half Irish but I want to know what my dad's side is. If anyone can find this info out for me I would appreciate it. I've been on the internet and the only way I can get it is by paying for it (I don't have a credit card and can't borrow one) so if anyone can get info on my last name's nationality for free and let me know! Thank you!

Many of the Ryersons who settled in the Midwest  came from Norway and Sweden.  Many of the New York Ryersons appear to have been there for quite a while.

In order to find your particular ancestry, you will have to do some research.

Do you know the names  of your father's grandparents or great grandparents?
