I HATE how people ask stupid questions, like the girl five posts down asked if the moon was made out of cheese, and she claimed that she was "serious".

I see society advancing right before my eyes. (sarcasm)

  6. We live on a planet where decadence is the new fad. It's a fact not well publicized that 1/4 of our children do not receive graduation diplomas.

    The Moon is made of cheese, man didn't land on the Moon, the world will end in 2012, you name it.

    If you think things are bad in mathematics and science forums, you haven't seen nothing. A quick tour of the other y/a sections makes me want to throw up at the common level of education.

    As long as you can phone text and program your ipod, I guess it doesn't really matter much if you have common sense or critical thinking skills.

    I'm almost 50 but I seriously wonder about the future generations.

    What your seeing is an example of Dysgenics in action.  Each generation is getting dumber and dumber and dumber.  This is because natural selection is no longer selecting for greater intelligence, but is simply favoring those who reproduce the fastest.  That, and because we have no predators or true difficulties in life (I refer to Americans), we have no need for it from an evolutionary prospective.

    I know when the slide began, even.... the day they said you could have calculators in math class!!!.... it all went down the tubes from there....
