What present for our anniversary?

What present should I give my husband for our 20th anniversary. I would like something practical, everyday but at the same time to be special. Money wise i would not want to spend more than £1000 or so.

20yrs and that is all your willing to spend on this guy?. I would not doubt he has something big and special planned for you anyways if this all you want to spend maybe a nice tropical vacation somewhere, a gift certificate to his favorite store.  Or for most guys a great roll in the hay you know what I mean a nice meal and we are good to go.  Nice watch may work if he needs a new one or maybe a new Plasma TV.

I would go on a cruise, or maybe Cancun or jamaca, but if you wanna stay in USA, then i would go to NC and go white water rafting, or hiking, or just relax in the hot tub.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th this year.  Since I have been out of work, we did not do anything, but one year we went out to eat, spent a night in a full service hotel downtown, ordered a fruit basket and had fun that night.  It was not that expensive either.  Hope that helps!  Something else my wife likes it cruising.  Go on Royal Caribbean and take a 3 or 4 day cruise somewhere.  You can eat, dance, relax and have fun together.  They are not that expensive and should be in your price range or close to it.  There is a link below for cruises.  Have fun and I hope this helps.  That is great that you want to do something for your husband!  You do not hear that many good things on this site with marriages anymore!

As you probably already know, there are different traditional gifts for various anniversaries.  According to Wikipedia, the traditional 20th anniversary gift is china, and the more modern equivalent is platinum.  What about something like a platinum watch or clock?  Wikipedia also says that platinum is good for watches because it "neither tarnishes nor wears out".

Go to Bahamas and stay at the Atlantis it's very fancy and affordible for any relationship! It's very beautiful. Another this is to go to Jamaca. Also get a bikini and give him a surprise!
