umm okay converse are great shoes but i don't think they're too good for skating. The best brand is adio.. and yes converse are better as high tops, but not that high, just try an average size they are very comfortable.

do not get those. 1st of all there way too high. and 2nd of all there cloth/canvas knitting. you will be able to skate on them for 2-3 days and then theyll rip where you ollie.

i have skated on converse and they lasted a couple weeks...they suck!

i also skated with DC's and they lasted pretty long. very good shoes.

And i skated with VANS as well. and man the old school rowley's are insanely comfortable.

i heard lakai are pretty good too. just what ever you do dont get those cchuck talorinos!
