I am an 8th grade teacher and I had a student 2 years ago, she is now a sophomore, that I was and still continue to be very close to. She called me the other day and said she really needs to talk to me, 5 days after she called which was Monday I called her back and left a message saying to call me when she has a minute, I have seen her at the pool since then and I can tell she is a mess but she is pretty good at hiding stuff, she just can't hide stuff like that from me. She still has not called me back, what should I do. I might add that this is the girl who would run into my room crying because of something her parents had done the night before. The school board knows about all of this and approves of our relationship, they think it is good for her. What should i do?
