What should I do over there?

Question

Going to Iraq next year for the first time. Should I buy a c**p load of calling cards, I know they have phone centers, or should I just buy a cell phone with international plan. Will a cell phone even work over there, I'm 99.9% sure we are going to Ramadie.

I'd say talk to your Superiors or Commanding Officer about it. They'd be able to give you more accurate info. than random people on the internet.

FAILING that - there is this guy, his/ her office is usually across the hall from the Squadron/ company commander, he's an enlisted guy Command Master Chief/ Sgt Major - 1st Sergeant/ Top whatever...
