What should i do? TT___TT?

you know I love art.

I really do! But sometimes i wonder if i can really make a career. Or if it just a hobbie.

my mom doesn't really take it seriously she tells me that she thinks my drawings are nice. Maybe I'm not cut out for it. because every time i look at other peoples art i wonder how can i ever even come close to that? Some people say that you'll get better when you grow up but i feel as though if I'm not great now then I'll never be. So should i give it up? you know just make it into a hobbie.

Well i always found studying mental illnesses interesting. maybe i should base my future on logic instead of luck.

I feel the same way!! Art is one of my most loved things to do, I like art more than other things like going to the mall 0_0 ...lol thats coming from a 14 year old (still love shopping none the less^^) And same here, sometimes I see a peice of work someone did, and I think wow! Im so jealous, if I could draw and paint like that I'de be set for life witha career.

And NO! Don't give art up, you never known things change very fast, people learn new skills all the time. Theres always room for inprovments. And besides, even if you could never ude this as a career, why would you wanna stop doing something you love? Even if its not ur "career" U can still make money off your work, and just have another job that really supports you. Thats actuall how most artests start out.
