  1. Forget the jeans, they are made of cotton, obsorb moisture and then freeze just like you will. I recommend long underwear to start, a wool/silk type that is a bit hard to find but you can get it from Cabela's. Waterproof polyester pants or really ski pants and layer the torso with long underwear then a long sleeve shirt and jacket. May I please suggest a helmet also. It will keep your head warm and add the protection from a bad fall. (It is said that it allows your family to have an open casket at your funeral)

If you are skiing where it will be really cold like 0-15 degrees try chilly peppers that you will find is sporting goods stores. They are expensive but will make your expensive ski trip much more enjoyable.

  2. I wouldnt wear jeans under snowpants.  They are stiff and uncomfortable.  try longunderwear or sweatpants

  3. Wear Thin, long socks under your ski boots, a sweater, a coat, possibly snowpants, coat (depends on how cold it is)  hat or helmet

  4. I'd go with: Boots, Warm socks, Snow pants, and maybe another pair underneath them, shirt, heavy coat f it is really cold, maybe underarmor, gloves, hat or beanie or whatever those things you put on your head are, and goggles or sunglasses

  5. Just long johns with ski paints is fine,( if you where to wear jeans it becomes to bulky) hat gloves, light jacket (because you build up heat), med socks, ski boots.

Scarfs just get in the way if you have a pack its good to add an extra set of socks, shirt.

A water bottle is a must, lite snack is good
