  1. i also recommend the clash.  it is a freestyle board, meaning its good for cruising, but also in the park which like the guy before me said, you will likely become interested in depending on location (east has some great terrain). plus, i ride a clash and dont be discouraged that its entry level, i got it this year because  it gets good reviews and its cheap.  you dont have to be a beginner to ride the clash, blunt etc.  i would not recommend the malolo to a beginner who has never experienced with the park.  its really fun.

good luck and more importantly have fun!

  2. I have seen a blog just recently with all kinds of great snowboarding items like clothing, boots, and gear I also seen free video on there too for skiing and snow boarding it's a must see site just look around it's mixed in all the posts you'll see it it's enlarged text for the free videos, and regional conditions

  3. You said your not looking into a beginner board, but the Blunt and Clash are pretty much beginner boards.

I would suggest going with the Clash. It is an entry level board with an entry level price. Since you just started, dont get ahead of yourself and buy a more advanced board.

The clash will take you through everything (especially the things you said you wanted). This board will take you from starting levels up to intermediate levels. By the time you need another board, Thats the time to look into a more advanced and specialized  board like the Malolo.

The Malolo is for powder or a downhill cruise, but may have a hard time in the terrain parks (which you may find interest in later). I think it also voids the warranty if you use it in the park.

  4. Ok definately dont go for the Malolo as its a advanced level freeride board. Also i wouldent recommend the Blunt as although its an easy board to ride its a jib board, great for rails, buttering, spinning, general tricks etc but nots so good when ridden at speed or for general riding around.

Both the Clash and Royale are all mountain boards so are good for all types of riding. The Clash is an entry level board wheres the Royale is an intermediate board and is also a mid wide board. Im not sure what you foot size is but you need to determine whether you need a regular, mid wide or wide board. Im guessing as you are quite small you would probably need a regular board which would mean the Royale

would be no good for you. But if you think you are ready for an intermediate level board you could go for the Burton Air which is the same board as the Royale but in a regular width. If you want an entry level board but find you need a wide board try the Burton Bullet which is the same as the Clash but in a wide size. As you have only started recently i think you would be best off with the Clash or Bullet, Good luck with the riding.
