What sounds better ?

i got a pair of the pioneer 5 way 6x9 speakers - TS-A6992S and im going to put them in a daihatsu charade(hatchback) and i just wanted to know if these speakers would sound better in a 6x9 box on top of my parcel tray or if i cut holes into my parcel tray for these speakers ? thanks

in a box especially since your car isn't designed to have 6x9's on the parcel tray. if your car had speakers on the parcel tray before you might want to use the holes that held the factory speakers in place to hold the boxes
