What states have the worst weather?

I live in ohio and I hate the weather. it rains all summer and is all muddy in the winter.

What other states have crappy weather like ohio?

Florida has the most thunderstorms of any place on the continent. The midwest has the tornadoes and the south has the hurricanes. The northwest rains two days out of three. California has earthquakes, forest fires, draughts and Gawd knows what else. Locusts?

Anyway, Ohio doesn't sound that bad when you put it in that context.

That's really hard to say.   I forecast the weather for a lot of places and in different seasons,  different places... Between tornadoes and hurricanes and heavy snows..

Iowa.  I have a nice acronym I like to use for it:

Its Offensive Weather Always.

Winter:

Ice Storms.  Just plain nasty - you cannot drive in it, and it takes down the power lines.  When we get snow it is just enough to make endless weeks/months of mud.  And when no snow or ice it is sub zero degrees.

Summer:

Dangerous thunderstorms, hail the size of golf balls, and TORNADOES in the summer.  Oh and when we don't have life threatening storms, then it is so humid you can't breath.  

Spring:  Torrential rain, gray days upon gray days - depressing.  It is nice for about 4 days in late May.

Fall:  More rain and mud.  We get about 2 days of nice weather before it turns to c**p again in Winter.

I feel your pain.

For Jerry - I was born, raised, and still live in California.  I'll put up with the earthquakes, fires, droughts, floods, etc any day over what the rest of the country has to deal with.   While the rest of the country is freezing their asses off in winter, we are basking in 70 and 80 degree weather.  I'll put up with a few seconds of shaking.  I've been through 11 major fires in my time, and the most I ever lost was a chicken coop roof and some trees and bushes.  

On the side,  I always thought Iowa stood for "Idiots out walking about".

For me, any other state has crappy weather.  Humidity, rain, snow, flatlander mud, mosquitos, etc.  No thanks.
