I can't make up my mind on which subwoofers to buy. I want to have two 12" subs in my trunk to rival some guys at school. One is a Kenwood http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002DFKTG/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance . I trust Rockford Fosgate's name and think that they will be more powerful and last longer. Am I wrong? Are the Kenwoods any good? Im really new to car audio and any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. go with the kenwoods they can do 400 watts rms. The rockfords can only do 200 rms. ( as long as you have that kind of power from an amp) If you are only pushing under 400 rms total(200 each sub) then go with the rockfords.

  2. before you do any purchasing go to thedeepdiscount.com and see what the have to offer...trust me its way better and cheap prices

  3. dude, get the kenwoods,,,i know alot of other people besides you think that rockford is better but the kenwoods have a higher rms watts and higher peak power(the kenwoods will hit harder)

  4. I agree with moneymaker...get the kenwoods. You will need that extra wattage if you want to show your stuff....and besides, you cant beat that price! Now if you were comparing with rockfords p3 line or power series then I would choose Rockford....But in this case, kenwood is your best choice.
