What temperature for a dorm fridge??

Ok my boyfriend wants to know what temperature setting (1 through 7) should he set his mini-fridge to? well it's a dorm-room size actually and it is made by Haier and is called the aficionado or something. anyone know?

put it on 5. If you find it is to cold bring it down one ..

Any fridge should be no warmer than 40 degrees and no colder than 33 degrees so get a thermometer and measure(usually 34-36ish) and set accordingly(allow 24hrs to stabilize) it should be around setting 5.

Mid position is always best to avoid freeze ups and break downs.

Those small refrigerators are notorious for that because they are set too cold.

Generally on these, the manufacturer recommends a setting of '4', but you can go 5 or 6 if you want things colder.

Forget about YAHOO answers for this one, and check out old fashioned common sense. Set it in the middle and then go up or down from there depending on preference. Come on kiddies, I hope that college helps you develop some independent critical thinking skills.

I hate college, so I would not know. I think 4 or 5 is good though since it's mid-temp and you don't want to get too hot or too cold.
