What the law?

Okay, well i get my license in a week, and me and 2 of my friends were gonna go on a trip to a mall about 2 hours away. But i know theres a law that u can only have 1 person whos not family in the car.. so how strict are ppl usually on this? I might just take my bestfriend [guy] first, and bestfriend girl another time[taking for 8th grade grade present].

She doesnt know if she'll be able to go or not becuz her mom might now let her, but i told her to ask if she could just check in every so often. And she thinks that might work.

anyway...

Im 16, Guy is 15, gonna be 16. And girl is 13, gonna be 14 soon.

And what are some tips, like to make the trip more fun. I realize that i have to be responsible and drive safe, thats not a problem. But i wanna make sure they have fun though lol.

well, if you can drive decently, i highly doubt you'll get pulled over by cops. since they're your family though, all you'd have to do is inform the cops of this and they'd let you go anyway. and since you have to drive two hours to get to the mall, im guessing you live in the boonies somewhere without that many cops anyway. the biggest problems you'll have are if you get caught speeding or get in an accident or something, and that's unlikely. just keep it chill, dont do anything stupid, and bring along some good tunes, and everyone will have a great trip :)
