  1. Well Bethany... may I call you Bethany.  When a electrostatic charge is absorbed by an incongrus mass of Benuvian algal protoplasm - spontaneous plasmatic implosion leads to an isotonic frothing as Emilo Venturi clearly showed in his 1642 Teratogonic Experiments.

    Either that or a cloud of sewer foam.  Darned if I know.

  2. Shucks.  I got caught again.  I was testing the new power pack on the sled.  It is supposed to be environmentally friendly, reducing the methane and the solid wastes I seem to leave behind every Christmas.

  3. Was it shiny with Chuck E. Cheese's face on it? My grandaughter's helium balloon got away and we've often wondered where it went.

  4. i do not know what it was  as i was not aware of  it but here are two suggestions. 1. it could be one of those balloon things mentioned in a national geographic article  in which a photograph of special grey silk military balloon was shown. or it could have been a blimp. the usual explanations are weather baloons and new types of military air craft. it could even be a new type of commercial aircraft.  2.it could be a nasa space probe  a solar power array or  a battery operated hanglider. someone with a jet pack.or a nasa shuttle or space craft. you could ask nasa if it was something being worked on in alaska instead of the usual place

  5. It was your mother.

  6. Everybody's a comedian. Not a straight man in the house.

    Don't let these jokesters bother you. You are the smart one for asking a fair question. They are the fools for not knowing or not admitting they don't know.

    I hadn't heard about the event you mention.

    Can you give more details, like when, where you heard about it, etc.?

    {who asks a question is a fool for a day; who doesn't ask is a fool for a lifetime}

  7. "CRUELOIL".

  8. Answer to where gunplumber's granddaughter's balloon went:

    The balloon probably ascended to about 20,000 feet, where lack of atmospheric pressure caused it to explode and release its helium gas. The balloon shreds then probably fell back to Earth... hence the "thing floating over Alaska" ;)

  9. ok clue me what was over alaska???
