I'm going to buy tickets to a concert tomorrow and it says the tickets go on sale on Sat, 08/23/08 10:00 AM PDT, what does PDT mean? Thank you!

  1. Pacific time is only 3 hours behind Eastern, 2 hours behind Central, and 1 hour behind Mountain.

  2. PACIFIC Time is -1 hour from Mountain -2 from central, -3 from eastern.

  3. Pacific Daylight Time. It's the time zone of the west coast of the U.S. in the summer months. The winter months are Pacific Standard Time (PST) on the west coast.

    There is also:

    Mountain Time (MDT/MST)

    Central Time (CDT/CST)

    Eastern Time (EDT/EST)

The summer months are daylight savings time when the clocks are an hour ahead of the winter standard time.

  4. -4?  isnt it 3

  5. PDT is Pacific Daylight Time. That is West Coast so -2 hours from central standard time and -4 from eastern. So tickets go on sale 2 to 4 hours before that time. It's hard to say really, I'm not sure where you live.

    I hope this helps.
