What to do in niagra falls?

I realise there is lots to do in niagra falls but i would like to know sugestions to what would be the most fun things to do down there besides look at the falls and i'm going the 3rd week of september for a couple of days in a hotel.

Assuming you are staying the the Canadian side... the White Water Walk http://www.niagaraparks.com/nfgg/whitewa... shouldn't be missed. Not many people see that. As for the other touristy stuff, of course do Maid of the Mist and don't miss all the fun things to do on Clifton Hill. http://www.niagarafallslive.com/clifton_...

If you're old enough to drink, the wineries on the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake are wonderful. My favorite is Lailey's personally. http://www.laileyvineyard.com/ The others are fancier, but I prefer the better prices and their ice wine (made from frozen grapes) is out of this world.

First you should have included your age. Drinking age is 19 in NIagra Falls.  Now things to do.  The basics.....the falls, go behind them and check it out.  If maid of mist do that.  The gorge is cool to its half mile down from the falls.  If you do your research they have tours which make life a Little easier and well worth it. It wont waste time trying to be your own tour guide. As you will see Niagara is very touristy so theres a lot of cool things to do. I would recommend the wax museums.  I have done most of them and there really cool. Bring a camera.  Next they have 4d movies which are well worth checking out. There only like 45 min to an hour.  There are also other places to check out Ripleys believe or not, criminal and rock star museums. They look cool I just never went in one yet. They also have coupons books which will save you some money on the things a mentioned plus more.  Theres more to do but it self explanitory and a lot to choose from.  If you looking to gamble there 2 Casinos up there. One is only about 2 years old.  There fun....if your feeling lucky.  Exchange your money there for the best rate.

Food.....its a tourist area everything cost more.  You have your chains....Pizza Hut, Wendy a 24 hour Burger King. than they have a lot of small family owned places.  There smaller usaully cheaper and never had a bad experiecnce in one.  Every place has a breakfast specail.  There some nice restraunts like the one on the tower its spins.  Expensive but a cool view.  Theres winerys just about everywere in that 50 square miles that surround Niagra Falls.

If your a cluber there some dance clubs...Everyone goes to Rumors its on the main drag. You will know the main drag as soon as you drive in to the Falls area. Check aorund to and ask people are really friendly up there. They have many different kinds of clubs.  Nudity ones to for men and women,,, Other than that stay at a nicer hotel if you can. Four Points,, Sherdan, Some of the no names ones should be shut down there that nasty.  Marine Land and a bird avairy and a big indoor water park are things a forgot to add earlier. Thats sums it up. I love the Falls area and go about once a year if not more.

Oh you MUST go on the jet boats from Niagara on the Lake, the cost is C$56 and it is really worth it. One hour of pure, wet thrilling stuff, right through the rapids. My wife and I went in 2006 and we are going to do it again when we re-visit in July 2008.  Then you should go on the wheel ride on Clifton Hill, next to Boston Pizza, also up the Skylon Tower just opposite Niagara Falls themselves.  Of course there is also the Aero Car which takes you over the whirlpool.  To be honest there is so much that we have had two visits to Niagara Falls and we still have not done everything, hence our third visit in 2008.  Plus the helicopter ride over the falls, which according to their web site now costs C$139, although if you pre-book it the price is reduced slightly.
